How many hours of sleep do you need?
What is the longest amount of hours you have ever slept?

This weekend, I nixed all social plans and things I was invited to. Instead I concentrated on "home improvements". Painted my kitchen. Cleaned out closets etc.

It wasn't that tiring, but since I planned to be home for most of the weekend and no plans to go out, I ended up sleeping 9 hours......two nights in a row. I usually get about 6.6-7 hours a night.

Sometimes with life going at 100 miles an hour all the time, you don't realize that your body needs "catchup" sleep, and that's what happened.

And muscles don't grow in the gym. They need sleep and rest in order to grow after exercise and physical activity

    Very refreshing.

I need eight or nine hours of sleep otherwise I will feel lazy throughout the day until I sleep again. Once I slept for twelve hours. Might be the longest sleep.

If I have time to take care of myself the best I like 9-10 hours of sleep a day.
    That's 8 hours a night and a good nap around 4.
