Should I bulk or cut with a little bit of body fat to lose?

I used to have around 15% of body fat and have worked really hard to get it down. I'm now 12% body fat which is that much of a change but at least its progress. I know that gaining lean muscle mass is a key factor in helping to burn fat. I'm wondering should I focus on bulking or cutting to help me lose the last bit of body fat? Getting down to 8% would be great but I'd be happy at 9% or 10%. I kind of want to bulk but wanted to ask for your opinions first. Thanks for any feedback!

You want to burn fat and get down to 8%, and you're asking if you should bulk or cut?

Maybe I didn't read it correctly, but that doesn't make much sense.

I know that more lean muscle mass really helps with getting rid of fat. If I bulk up and eat more calories then I will get more muscle mass. My reasoning is that if I can gain even more and bigger muscle mass maybe that will help me burn the rest of the fat and get me down to around 8%. That's what I think but I'm not an expert but that seems logical. I know a lot of guys here have been training for years so you guys know far more that I do. I was hoping to get some insight from you. Thanks.

Well, it depends of what you want! Are you happy with the muscle mass that you have righ now? If the answer is yes, and you just want to loose body fat, then please, by all means go for the cutting.

But if you want to get a little more mass, maybe some more butt, arms or pecs, then go for the bulking first.
