I figure maybe we can learn something from each other....better yet I can learn from all of you....

    Because...

    I eat Peanut Butter.

There must be something else I can do to handle stressful situations....but yoga is so boring. icon_cool.gif

I usually let it build up and have an outburst at the most inappropriate moment. Just how I roll.

Proactively... I don't allow myself to become stressed in the first place.

(I'm really not kidding about that. I have become stressed before, of course, but it takes much, much more to make it happen than it seems to for most people. I think you can learn to prevent it.)

I usually go out for a walk and try to think about what I see rather than what's on my mind. The beauty in nature can have a relaxing effect on the mind.

Or I work out, which gets those happy endorphins going. I find that after working out, I just can't worry about things as much as I could before. It also brings me a good feeling of when I know that if there is no other area of my life that I can better at a certain moment, I can at least better myself physically.

Lastly, I've found that helping another, in the form of volunteering, doing a favor, etc. can help me reduce my stress. It helps put my life into perspective by making me realize that I am part of a bigger picture. This usually diminishes the types of worries that I have by helping me realize how insignificant they are in the grand scope of things..

True. I have. Time was I let all the petty stuff get to me. Now I live by these words:

    "Don't sweat the petty stuff.
    Do pet the sweaty stuff!"icon_lol.gif

Talk to a friend, walk, distract myself (Reading, music), take a break, masturbate, sleep. volunteering is something I need to start up again. I used to do it all the time. (Thanks for the reminder Kittar) icon_smile.gif

    In no particular order:

    1. Cut the grass (Somehow it just makes me feel amazing...don't know why!)
    2. Listen to music
    3. Fire someone (most stress in my life comes from my work and my employees. The employees usually cause it by calling in sick or that they will be late 10 minutes before they were supposed to be there.)
    4. Make Love (somehow when I get super stressed all I want to do is have an all out enthralling, passionate and fulfilling love making session where I spoil the other person and cover every square inch of their body with hands, body, mind and sprit until I feel them writhing in pleasure beneath me.)

    That's pretty much it!

with dates icon_smile.gif I go out, meet guys, flirt with them, have them like me and then forget to call them back. It always makes me feel better.
Also ... I write poetry or masturbate, or just go to sleep.

It used to be eating, but now it's usually kickboxing, Wii, lifting weights or just getting sullen.

On a tough day, just go out on the trail for a nice long run. Calms me down in minutes. Also like going for Yoga, and the best part being last 5 mins of sleep. icon_smile.gif
