My parents found it odd (but let me) when I wanted to paint my bedroom purple. I also wanted Lavender carpert. One day, My grandfather visted and made a negitive comment about my purple room. Because of his comment I repainted my room blue. I wish I was more secure in having my room purple at the time.
An orange room must had been interesting.

Cobalt blue, and other blues as well. I've loved cobalt blue glass since I was a little kid, so imagine my surprise after I came out that gay men seem to have a high incidence of interest in it. Followed by ruby red glass, my second favorite.

I remember dating a guy once who had tons of cobalt glass everywhere, and I display a little bit myself. Any of you other guys?

Though guests gets traditional clear crystal, I always have cobalt blue martini glasses for my personal daily use:

Here's a quick snapshot of 2 of my martini glasses, featuring elements of cobalt blue. A bit clumsy, just put out on the patio a moment ago for this pic.

They were commissioned by my partner as a birthday gift for me, by a glass artist who specializes in retro-50s stuff, one of my favorite styles. My sweetheart specified that cobalt blue be the dominant color.

There are matching tall candlesticks he gave me with this same look that are absolutely spectacular, and totally original & unique. No two pieces are ever the same.

No, I write a fashion blog and I actually have a post that discusses the matter titled "What the Hell is Taupe?"

The word "taupe" is derived from the word "talpa," which means "mole." Taupe is the color of mole fur.

depends on the object, can't pick just one color that fits all size, shape and form.
