How many of you have tried to hold the long note at the beginning of Donna Summer and Barbra Streisand's song "No More Tears (Enough is Enough)"?

Ya know, its kinda sad when someone, anyone, is blatantly vicious towards an artist, any artist and/or another human being in general.

What I find so repulsive is this: regardless whether you enjoy the music or films of Barbra Streisand - - this is one person from the Hollywood community who has RAISED HER VOICE (when most didn't eons ago) and donated HUGE SUMS OF MONEY (when many looked the other direction) for the gay community to help fund AIDS research, fight discrimmination, educate children about same sex civil rights and more when a) it wasn't fashionable to do so; and, b) without notority or fanfare (most celebrities will only do it with those conditions).

He foundation has donated in excess of $37M to causes ranging from environment issues, women's health initiatives, human rights, gay and lesbian rights, and a host of other important causes.

Forget that she is probably one of the most talented artists to come out of Hollywood, or, that her recording voice and motion picture persona have been bestowed every single award known to the entertainment industry (many times over and the first on many occasions) or that at 67 years old her global fan base remains staggering in its sheer numbers - but, that she pioneered the privileges many women enjoy (and take for granted) today in the entertainment industry.

Tell me - what have you negative, hateful schmucks done to further humanity on a similar scale?
