    Hey guys,

So my boyfriend has been living in Italy for the past 3 months (and is staying there until March), and I went out to stay with him for three weeks in August....but now I'm back...and I miss him - a lot - already.

How the hell do you cope with that feeling? The worst part is that he's gone until March - so another 6 months of this.....though he is going to come visit in November.

    It really sucks!

Anyone with LDR experience wanna pitch their advice?

In addition, distance is said to make the heart grow fonder. keep in good communication (i.e., regularly) and know that there are many guys out there but you have one to call your own. be confident in knowing that your man must go off and do the things that will bring more intrinsic value to your connection with him. missing him is part of the process but knowing where his heart lays makes not having him always physically present well worth any wait.

    be well. : o )

I think distance can be a great test to any relationship. When I went to Australia, I realized that what I missed about my relationship was more the concept rather than the actual guy. Sometimes, in a relationship these two things can be tough to distinguish but distance can sometimes lend a helping hand towards understanding the distinction.

Its seems like you miss your guy pretty deeply which is great not just for the shear fact that that's what a relationship ought to consist of... but it also saves an incredibly awkward Skype break-up.

BerberKnight saidVideo and audio Instant Messaging? Skype, for one, does reduce emotional distance. The touch will be missing but it will feel like your bf is near.

    I agree! technology fucking rocks!
