So what do all the gay dudes have to say about the CAMARO RS and the MUSTANG V6? Which do you think is better and why?

WAAY hotter looking ride. The Mustang is beginning to look dated.

Camaro, hands down! The new V6 makes over 300 horses and is pretty sophisticated. They did just redesign the Mustang, but the Camaro still wins in the looks dept, esp the interior.

I liked the Mustang when it first came out. Now that it's been on the market for a while, I'm kinda indifferent to it. The updated front end and tail lights are ok. But still not enough to make me want one.

I really want to like the Camaro. But it's so generic, and looks too similar to the new Dodge Challenger. But if I were to choose between the Mustang and the Camaro, I would get the Camaro. But the SS model. I just don't see the point in getting the RS.

Another reason to get the Camaro.. independent rear suspension. Better handling, and more fun to drive. Solid rear axle (like on the Mustang) is fine if you want to take your car to the drag strip on the weekends. But for daily driving, I think the independent suspension would be better.

But if you're buying a car more for style and not for performance, then either one is fine. Get the car that YOU really want. Because if you make the wrong choice, then you're going to dread getting in your car every morning.

I thought so,too, at first from pictures, but a neighbor bought a Cam and it has much 'sexier' curves and a wider-stance hip area....for lack of a better phrase. I probably would buy one if I was in the market. But I have 2 Cams already, both classics. Better pic showing the curves below

PS: Yes, I had a Mustang many years ago. 1973 GT fastback.

I prefer the Camaro with the 426 hp 6.2 liter. I looked at a Camaro and a Z06 Corvette yesterday. I felt like an old man walking with a cane getting in and out of the Vette.

Perhaps two of you young muscular guys could life me in and out? icon_biggrin.gif

I've owned a Camaro and two Mustangs in yesteryear. The Camaro was probably a bit nicer, and went just a bit faster (160MPH), but, my heart still lies with my 68 Mustang GT. Oh, the stories.... (Mine was orange and black.)

The Camero would be my choice of these two, but I want what TOP GEAR was testing in this video clip: A BUGATTI-VEYRON....fucking HOT!
Top Speed 253 MPH, twin V-8 engines, 4 tubochargers, 10 radiators, at top speed takes in as much air per minute as a person would breath in 4 days, produces 1001 HP.........only 300 produced in the world approximate price of 850000 British pounds or about $1.42 million USD.......nice toy!

Firebird, but it's now extinct so Camaro it is!

Mustang is a chick's car. Everyone I know that actually drives a mustang is 5' tall, petite chick. Hear dudes rave about mustang, but I only see chicks driving them.
