Today was my first time in the gym since my knee operation just over 8 weeks ago, feel soooooo good to be back. Just spent a while on the cross trainer and excercise bike, as that's what my physio advised.

    Am really happy icon_biggrin.gif

Congratulations! I'm sure it's just like riding a bike and you'll be back to full speed in no time.

Thanks guys, am feeling the love icon_biggrin.gif

I had bone growth in the knee, that had to come out as it was painful, plus they then altered the muscles that are attched to my knee cap, as the needed loosening off. It's the second time I have had that done.

All on the NHS too, so listen up America, social healthcare works!

Congrats! I know just how you feel. I was in a motorcycle wreck in January and dislocated my left knee. Took out the ACL, PCL, medial collateral ligaments and the medial meniscus. After 2 operations and virtually a total reconstruction I lost 30 lbs of muscle, but I got back in the gym in July and have put 18 of the lbs back on. And my legs almost match in size again! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif
