Calling All Muscular Men!! What Worked For You??

    Hey guys,

    I'm 5'5 and 132lbs or so. My fitness goal for the next several months is basically to put on some serious muscle. I have come a long way from my fat/super scrawny days, but I'm still not where I'd like to be.

    For all you muscular (or knowledgeable) real jocks out there, I ask you simply this:

    What worked for you when you were trying to put on muscle?
    (re: nutrition? workout? sets/reps? sleep? lifestyle? etc etc?)

    I could use all the advice and tips I can get.

    I'm no expert, but what has worked for me is to eat alot. Most of the game is eating..if you want to bulk up. Count the calories and figure out your calorie needs for sustaining your current weight then add around 250-500 calories more a day.

    Do heavy compound movements: squats, deadlifts, barbell rows, bench presses. the first three makes u really sweat like a pig. Try to go around 6-12 reps per set.
