Sorry to hear your not doing well guy, I had a coworker who informed me of her use of effexor, which her dr. put her on after the death of her grandmother. She was fine afterwards, just like her old self..but when she failed to take her medication she became very upset and cryed about the simplist things...
Good luck to you man..........i'm not sure about the side effects though...

I've been on Effexor for several years. In the beginning I had some mild side effects, which subsided as my body adjusted to the drug. I've had a pretty good experience with it. Of course, one of the key things with SSRIs is to find the one that suits your body chemistry. If you have bad side effects or don't get relief in 6-8 weeks, you should go back to your doctor.

Feel free to email me on here if you want more detailed information. icon_smile.gif

I'm terrified of taking medications (thankfully, I don't need them) and only take multi-vitamins ... but researching anything that you put in your body is paramount.
