I am planning a trip this May and have about three weeks give or take a few days to do it. My general schedule is:

Fly Reno->London, spend 5 days or so there visiting friends.

London->Berlin-- (7-10 days) this is where I have some ability to do see other things on the way. I've been to Amsterdam in 1998 and COULD go back, but was also thinking Rotterdam as I've heard its awesome. Maybe take train to hit other places on the way, or fly to a different city in Germany and then make my way to Berlin.

Berlin->Barcelona (6-9 days)--this is where my trip will end, as my friends get married here either 5/22 or 5/29.

It's been about 11 years since I've been to Europe. So looking forward to this. Any recommendations would be stellar.

A couple of recommendations. I've been to both London and Amsterdam.

Things I liked in London (in no order):
    1) Walking the streets around Piccadilly Circus
    2) Houses of Parliment (make sure to go the day before to get tickets to go inside)
    3) Tower of London (go early because it gets crowded.)
    4) The Monument, it's to the victims and destruction resulting from the 1666 fire

    1) I was only there for 8 hours, but the Anne Frank house will probably out do anything else the city has to offer. Get tickets in advance, and go early to beat the crowds.

London is an awesome city to walk around and take in the sights. Public trans is easy and very accessible.

If you like Indian Food, there seems to be no shortage of pretty good restaurants of that sort there.

I really enjoyed the Victoria & Albert Museum - http://www.vam.ac.uk/

(British Museum was closed when I was there, so I can't compare the two for you.)

If you like gardens, Kew Gardens is a pretty nice spot to visit http://www.kew.org/

As Eric mentioned, Picadilly Circus is a lot of fun.

    SoHo is fun as well.

Haven't been to the other places you mentioned.

    Have a great time!
