Can we outlaw bringing donuts into work?

3 different vendors brought donuts into work today. I can smell them from my desk.

God, I hope they are gone soon.

Catch the offending vendors and make suggestions as to what kinds of snacks you would like to see brought in besides donuts. LOL, or post a sign prohibiting donuts.

Judging by the look on your face you did more than smell them!

I was good, I resisted. When I saw them, I just kept saying to myself "refined white flour, hydrogenated shortening, high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavor".

I usually cave in have one and then feel literally like crap. I then tell myself "see how messed up ur insides feel when u eat this crap so dont do it again!" That lasts about 2 weeks and then I'll cave and eat another baked "good". Try telling myself that its just C.R.A.P....Can Really Add Pounds but I don't listen well.

There's a donut shop around here that sells strawberry and peach donuts, depending on the season.

Resistance is futile!

Once every few months my manager will bring in doughnuts for some sort of function. I usually have one as my morning tea and shrink my lunch a wee bit.

See this is the problem to the vast donuts consuming segment of middle America that might as well be written in Latin

Life is not worth living without doughnuts.

I admit to eating them at work because if I happened to die that night, I would be thinking, "Damn! I should have just had the doughnut.".

If I'm alive...well, keep running longer. It's a vicious cycle.

ever stick on in the microwave? do it, you will stay far far away from them! although that didnt stop me from having one last night as drunk food haha, the French curler from dunkin is the "healthiest" one

OMG!!! I know how you feel!! they are my downfall!!! I had a moment of weakness a few months ago and went to a bakery after work one morning...I got 6 different doughnuts and almost ate them all within 24 hours...I wanted to make myself vomit...but dam they were so good!!

They bring out butlers' trays full of donuts, cookies, oranges, apples, coffees and teas - twice a day at Hewlett-Packard........at scores of locations for the employees. I had to train myself to leave the junk alone and go for the fruit. I did that by reminding myself how many extra crunches I'd have to do to make up for the junk food!

Tim, could you ask your vendors for other alternatives to the donuts - without seeming ungrateful or controlling?

I thought I should just let you know: I hate fried food, sugar and stogy white carbs...

in other words, eating donuts is a form of torment. I much prefer steamed fish and spinach.

i thought that would go down well.
