I have to say it DaTony22 looks like a superhero, and is the most attractive gay guy I have ever laid eyes upon.

So is this Da "T" person now the standard in which we must subject ourselves to be worthy of RJ? considering he's a Superhero and all!

Of course not. lol. There should never be standards for such things, or I would be the first to be kicked off the website. I was just letting my thoughts be known about him, he would be my ideal man looks wise I am not sure about his mind and spirit though. I have yet to converse with him about any subjects. I do wonder what he will say when he realizes he is a forum. lol.

He's more or less an archetype of reinforced ideals. Taking in to consideration that this site is brazenly and artificially entitled "RealJock," which connotes a definite feeling of exclusivity, it shouldn't be surprising that this specimen was picked, especially not to you, Hillie. And this "image" of a Superhero conflates nicely with the boastful posturing of the "jock", a limiting and patently unoriginal inheritance from our heterosexual counterparts.

So by joining this site and replying to such forums, show that you yourself, have, even if you don't want to admit it, decided to believe in these stereotypes and boundries by even noticing they are there.

There are a couple of other gay forums I've been to. I like this one because, despite the images here, the dialogue is generally more productive and profound.

And, noticing something is not synonymous with believing in it. I don't know how you could draw such a conclusion, but it's erroneous.

Deep in the recesses of my mind their is a name and a story of a greek god, his name i cannot remember, who walked by a river in search of love and as he looks down upon his reflection cupid shoots him with an arrow. Instantly the god falls in love with his reflection and cannot go anywhere without looking at himself. He is the original man to be addicted to himself. He believed that every word that drip from his loves, himself in reflection, was struck in gold. I fear you may suffer from the same symptoms. Now to answer answer your question from earlier....it is simple psychology 101. By just admitting the parallels and walls exist you have built them in your own mind, thus creating such boundaries for yourself.
