has anybody seen this documentary? (there are 2, and a 3rd in the works)

    http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com

Personally, I think most of what it explores, is totally true. I have tried to "do my part" and spread the word, I've made everyone I know watch both films. Some are flabbergasted, some think it's bullshit, some could care less. Some people become so passionate about the underlying messages that they want to become a part of the movement it has created.

i'd love to hear different thoughts regarding these films!

Do you believe / agree with any of the contents???

Is it worthy of the movement it has started???

.......lets see if this thread sparks as much interest as the "is the guy above you HOT or NOT" thread icon_lol.gificon_wink.gif

You should check out similar sites and documentaries:

    http://www.infowars.com/

    You should watch "Endgame"

Many things are suposed to come to pass in the next few years and it is hard to say whether or not they will actually happen. All we can really do is discern the information presented to us and make judgments accordingly. Some of it may be truth and some may be bs but we should always take the time and not be afraid to take in new information no matter how radical it may be. To immediately dismiss information based on the idea that it is impossible will lead to great manipulation and control.

There are also rumours that the US dollar will collapse at the beginning of the new fiscal year, which may be crazy but we'll see. The current fiscal year ends on sept. 30th but I am not an economist so I should not be making certain statements on the matter.

Here are some of the alternative ideas on the current world and economic situation:

Here is part one of "Endgame" :

He may seem radical but at least it is more interesting that American Idol or any other mind numbing programming prevalent today.

It is really difficult to know how much of it is true. You have personally get down and do the research, the reading and traveling and interviewing yourself to know for a fact.

I don't like to believe in anything unless I can satisfy my logic. but I have no doubt that things are not always the way they seem. It is illogical for us to trust what we are presented with. As human being we haven't matured enough to be trust able.

It is cultish, and if you don't actually research the claims the "usual" people get suckered in by it.

both atheists and religious people have debunked some of the religious claims, and the stuff about 9/11 and the federal reserve .. well you might as well get your facts from the x-files

That was my impression. I also mistrust any film that claims to have won the same prize from some non existent film festival two years in a row. LOL

There probably are quite a few facts these films expose, but there are also probably a lot more assumptions they impute to add value to those facts to make it appear that there are vast conspiracies. Check things out for yourself and don't get pulled into any such group think offshoots cause you'll probably thereby avoid future embarassment. Remember one true to life fact when you consider the plausibility of any conspiracy theory, its very hard to get even two people to agree on anything and stick with it for any appreciable length of time, let alone getting groups of hundreds of people to conspire in secrecy to control the world for instance, and keep it all secret for many many years. Look at how many things supposedly loyal insiders have exposed that bush and cheney conspired so hard to keep secret from the public, it didn't take many years for it to happen either. So for some of these conspiracies the films suggest that have been ongoing for many decades seem doubtfull, and against human nature. There is of course the belief held by Hitler that if you want the public to believe a lie told in propaganda, to make it a big lie, because he suggests that the public never believes a small lie but will swallow a big lie because its easier to believe the big lie than the terrible truth. He pulled it off too didn't he. YOU DECIDE !!! but be very cautious what you believe that any group tells you unless you can verify it yourself.
