Nope only two songs that I like of hers. " Love Will Move Mountains" "Love Will Go On.

I hear her performances are off the chain.

Personally can't stand her. Some people like her, some people don't. I wouldn't say its a gay thing, but I can't think of a single one of my straight friends who likes her.

I'm a middle of the road CĂ©line fan. I don't like most of her stuff in English, but her French stuff is mostly great. She really has a different voice when she sings in French. If you are interested, there is a lot of her French music on Youtube.

    She's got great vocal quality.

Her singing can be loud or soft, fast or slow, but that's the extent of her "artistry."

Gay icon? Not sure about that...but I can tell you that from her SOLD OUT audiences in Las Vegas alone, the gay population from same was a very small segment.

By the way, just how successful you may ask?

Her Las Vegas 5-year stint ALONE paid her $100 million for the initial three years and an additional $75 million for the last two years. (Yeah, a total of $175M).

No one else, (except for Barbra Streisand) -- not Bette, Cher, Barry, Elton, Beyonce, Brittany, Tim McGraw, or any other act has been able to SELL OUT shows in Las Vegas on a consistent basis -- oh, and the theater at Caesar's Palace (the largest in LV and built especially for her) is a 4,000 seat theater.

Yeah, she's popular -- all over the world.

^^^^ just goes to show, there's no accounting for taste!

I actually prefer Mad TV parodies of Celine Dion --- can't stand her myself, and she makes my ears bleed.

I'm not a huge fan but I think she is pretty amazing as a singer and a performer. I love her classiness and how down to earth she seems to be. I would believe a "diva" of her status has a pretty good gay following.

But this doesn't mean she is good. Afterall, this a country that put Sussudio, Macarena, and We Built This City to the top of the charts.

I'm sure she has gay fans, but I've never been to any bar or club that played her music.

I don't think she is quite flashy or entertaining enough to be extremely popular with us gays.
