I don't know if it's gay. And it's kinda allegorical. It's one of the most striking dreams I've ever had in the past week.
I dreamt I was passing through a big house set inside an overhanging cliff. As I came closer I could hear children's laughter. When it came into view, the house had open tiers on the top, on which was put a playground. There were no railings, and a lot of children were playing mere inches from a sheer drop. And one of the slides actually goes straight to the edge.
I watched in horror as a little girl climbed the slide stairs and gleefully slid down straight over the edge. She fell about 30 meters. I ran to where she fell to find her crying a little and brushing away dirt. She was only mildly hurt. I rushed to find the caretaker or whoever of the place. I came to a small gazebo set in the center of a waterlily covered pond. In the center was an old woman (she was so old her gender was impossible to tell actually so she could have been a man or both, whatever, but I'll refer to her as She). She was very small. Barely 4 feet in height, pudgy, and had yellow skin (it had the look of old vellum stained with dirt). She was sweeping the floors humming softly seemingly unaware that the children under her care were in dire danger. I confronted her angrily and told her to take better care of her children. She turned to me puzzled and told me in a no-nonsense tone (not the exact words, but my dreams are like that. Half of what's said is not said verbally but part telepathically and part by implication, since it's my dream and I know what they were all going to say anyway LOL) "Let them have their hurts and bruises. This is life." Then she walked away, ignoring the footbridge and went straight into the pond, submerging completely under the water. I accusingly shouted after her that she doesn't care because she's only taking care of them for other people (she was after all, too old to have 5 year old children). Then she said (underwater) "They are all my children."
