    what.....the..............fuck

How does dancing the Beyonce put more than 0:01 second on the clock? This show doesn't make sense in so many ways. Such as the fat black chick having a crush on the skinny effeminate white guy. Sorry, but that NEVER HAPPENS IN REALITY!

They were still in their time out when they started the dance. Time doesn't start on the clock after a time out until the ball is hiked. Once the play is in motion the clock can run out and the play isn't stopped until someone is downed or a touchdown is scored. The quarteback didn't hike the ball till the players on the other team were "distracted" which was right after the dance was over.

right because for a television [musical] show to make sense, it must reflect everything that happens in reality

anyway, the ball was hiked after the beyonce dance, so the clock started after the beyonce dance and even with 1 second left the game doesn't end until there's a touchdown or a tackle (ie when the play ends)

I thought the episode was only redeemed by the scene when the kicker kid came out to his dad. That was the only genuine emotion this show displayed. I'd not watched any earlier episodes but had it on while packing. Can't say I'll watch again.

But anybody that watches football would know that that would be a false start. I love the show, and went with the suspension of disbelief.

    They called a time out.

If you call a time out, you stop the clock. Provided they hike the ball before the 'play clock' (a different timer) runs out, its fair play. If you start a play with time left on the clock (ie. Hike the ball) and time runs out... you continue playing until the ball is downed either via tackle, out of bounds, of a Touchdown.

They danced during a time out 'pause', they hiked, the clock hit 0:00, they completed the play.

While I'm shocked that this needed to be answered, I'm glad I didn't do it, for it wouldn't have been so cool headed. Thanks gibby320

Is ''Glee'' worth watching? I don´t think we have it here locally in Argentina, but I'd attempt to watch it online based on good word of mouth.

As far as Beyonce saving the day...I really don't understand the obsession with this woman...icon_confused.gif

To Caslon and JakeBenson and anyone else wondering about the whole one second thing. This show is a bit of a fantasy. You understand that, right? It is not reality. It's escapist fun.

I kind of like this show...

Its satirical fantasy on high school living, so we can be a bit more l. the point is not accuracy, but to mock the absurdity of it all.
