Alright... Well, to sum it all up, I'm pretty crazy about this show!!! Lol
Season 15 just started today and I think it is probably one of the best reality shows out there.
I love the competition, the adrenaline and all of the challenges that they get to do. It is definitely a way to travel the world and do some pretty crazy things that you wouldn't otherwise do.
And I mean who cares about the Million Dollars?!?! Well... I mean, it would def be a plus to win, but I'm more crazy about the traveling and the challenges. Lol I am definitely planning to audition for it when I turn 21 with one of my best friends.
    Anyone else watch it?!?!

    Big fan here!!!

I wonder if the two gay brothers are on RJ............

I'm rooting for them (eye candy), for the poker players, and the self-proclaimed interracial couple.
But, I hope that lawyer asshole gets eliminated asap. icon_twisted.gif

Great show as always but there has been a disturbing trend in their casting in the past few years (along with another big time CBS reality show). Instead of casting regular Joe's they seem to be wanting pseudo-celebs now (Miss America, Harlem Globetrotters, pro poker players, Olympic athletes, filmmakers). Most of the time these people end up being busts as far as producing memorable characters.

I'm wondering if they can top the transporting cheese down the hill challenge from last year. Nothing is funnier than watching people bite it.

I'm slightly acquainted with one of the past contestants and had a conversation with him about it. He said they went to so many places so fast that they didn't really get to see any of it. They film the whole thing in about 30 days.

Since he was on the race, he's actually gone back to spend time in some of the places he went to on the race just to take it in and enjoy it.

    I mean just that.
They brought it up saying that they have something to prove to their unsupportive parents, and also, it is pretty obvious (except for a blind person) that they are such a couple - yet they insisted on referring to themselves as such which I find quite amusing. But, I only worded it that way because I can't remember their names.

I thought the time difference from America to Australia was only 12 hours, not six months. icon_lol.gif

Damn, you're far behind! That sucks. Lol
You can probably find the episodes of Season 15 on hulu.com tho. Just give it a few days before they upload it and it'll be there. If not just go directly to cbs.com and they upload the full episodes on the show's website.

The Amazing Race is the only reality show that I follow. I've loved watching it since the first season.

What I don't like about it is how people bring their insecurities to the competition. Inevitably, any team who is not a pair of young, white males say that they will prove that (older people, women, beauty queens, nerds, gays, blacks, Asians, etc...) can be fierce competitors and win the race. I don't think these are big factors in determining their success. The biggest factor, IMO, is hailing a cab with a driver who knows where they are going.

My favorite was the season when Joyce and Uchena (sp?) beat out Rob and Amber. I had my money on the POW and the beauty queen.

One of the twins is gay? I thought the older one was married and the younger one had flirted with a girl on another team (Flo) during the race in season 3.

They're Ericka and Brian. They are trying to prove to Ericka's mother, who they said hasn't quite accept their marriage yet, that even though they come from different races and different backgrounds, their love and relationship is as strong and real as anyone else's.

Hulu does not work for viewers outside of the United States and neither do the videos on CBS.com because of syndication and licensing reasons. So unfortunately they won't be able to catch up to the show as quickly as they'd like.

While I don't necessarily agree with intentionally misleading another team, I can appreciate that not letting on certain information may help them advance in the race. What I'm wondering is how much benefit they can really reap from flirting with the girls. If their intention is to get other teams to help them, being nice, polite and decent will probably achieve the same ends, if not better, as flirting.

I was really intrigued by the poker players. Considering their profession, you'd think they'd be able to keep a poker face and keep up a facade even when identified by a fan. Also, you'd think they'd be able to read people better and have a better gaydar.

I haven't had a change to watch yet, glad to see a TV producer has chosen a gay "Anti-Stereotype." My fear is that they are going to edit these gay and Christian brother" to show them doing "Anti-Christian" things in an attempt to will.
