Does anyone else seem to gravitate towards men that look similar to your Ex or any Ex that you have had. It seems the guy I am currently interested in is almost a conglomerate of a few Exes in terms of looks. I immediately found him attractive by first site so there wasn't too much thinking about it at all. I noticed him quite awhile ago and now just getting to know him as a person and thank the maker he doesn't act like any of my exes!

...so did I find that, too, in Bill. The exes in question were all quite different looking from each other, but Bill's facial expressions etc brought back intriguing flashes of them. And no, he's not like any of them in character.

I have a think for all guys that have basicly the same kind of eyes, hands, facial features, and sorry but I like lighter complected guys. If you saw bf/exbf they all look about the same but its just what I usually find attractive.. sure there are some guys out of that norm but not really.

Yes, actually. But I remain very inexperienced and therefore cannot add much perspective beyond that.

Well that would be normal since you will be attracted to the same type of person, that's what people call having a "type".

As long as you have dated someone that was your "type" then it's quite probable that you'll date a similar guy since he will be your "type" too.

Unless your ex puts you off men all together.

I do have a tendency to do that. But this last boyfriend was out of the norm in a sense. But here is an issue I like to bring to the table. What do you think of a guy who breaks up with you via a text message?icon_mad.gif

My exes are of difference races, but within the same race the exes do look somewhat alike.

No, not even close- i have eclectic taste. The only constant – they have all been able to see their toes over their stomachs

Funny you should say that. Although the exes from my most significant relationships are very different in looks...I've noticed that once I break up with someone, I tend to be attracted to people similar in looks for a little while. I guess it's natural.

    Holy wow.

I never actually thought about it, but "Partner" actually bears more than a passing resemblence to The Antichrist (my ex). Just physically though. They could not be more different in personality. In all fairness, I do have a definite type that I gravitate towards...

God no that would be like a revisiting a bad dream, dating someone who looked like my ex. If I did it would beg the question if I was truly over him and the new guy is some sort of replacement. EWE!
