It is not only sarcastic and hilarious it is also the absolute truth. You cannot afford to get sick in the good ol' USA with these greedy, powerful insurance companies taking more money out of your paycheck and then covering less medical expenses when you do get sick or injured. But don't try to educate the right wing conservatives on this controversial issue because in their minds, America has the best system of health care in the world so it should be very expensive.

The republicans by proxy of the interest of the greedy conniving sniveling Insurance and Big pharma in this country
Where millions of people are forced to forego health care because they couldn't afford it
Where some elderly ... and I SEE it everyday
cannot afford the medicine They NEED
where people put off surgery ..... surgery they NEED because they cannot afford even the copay
if you don't think people are DYING because of the healthcare that the republicans are aiding and abetting then you need to start waking up

You go congressman !!!! What he said is exactly what the current system boils down to, and now the republicans want him to apologize, comparing the statement to what Wilson said about the president lieing. Their ability to assess equivalencies when they compare the two or how Bush was treated in comparison to Obama show a serious lack of reasoning abilities. The republicans have had many years to produce something that benefits the public more than the insurance and health care industry, and they have not done anything, so now they want to slow it down and be listened to, sorry suckers, you've fooled nobody, you had your chances and never even attempted anywhere near what was needed to help the public, so get the hell out of the way.

He was just on CNN calling Republicans a bunch of knuckle-dragging Neanderthals LOL!

He was real funny on "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" calling GOP folks knuckle-dragging Neanderthals.

The GOP has been nothing but obstructionist on health. On average, those who voted against the senate bill were paid $590,000 by health care lobbyists. It goes beyond disgusting that Big Insurance, and Big Pharm, want to get corporate welfare, and lie, lie, lie. Kudos to the congressman.

Here's the congressman's official site:

I've been waiting for this for ages... a Democrat with some balls.

How dare the Republicans flip out about this guy when they've been putting forward the "health care reform = death camps" argument for months.

And why are reporters too stupid to realize that.

No DOUBT! XD

FINALLY, someone calling it like it is. Health insurance is crap. All you're paying for is a company's "promise" to pay your claim should you need to file one. Obviously, that promise isn't worth a shit.

Meanwhile, damn republicans and the freakin' blue dogs continue to side WITH insurance companies and how they kill thousands of Americans each year through denial of care!

the hypocracy of the republicans calling for this guy to apologize when its not a stretch to say their knuckle dragging to hold back reform and therefore causing deaths is amazing to me. They didn't have any problem with about 5 members of the repubs stating that there were death panels and some about Obama's policies killing people. If they want to condemn and ask for apologies, they better look in their own house. I'm glad the repubs are doing this cause they're embarassing themselves before the American public, most see right through their hypocracy. You repubs keep it up, your winning our cause !!!

Alan Grayson is my new hero. It's great to see that not all Democrats are so limp-wristed. I was expecting more of this kind of stuff from Al Franken.

Exuse the language and tone, but the GOP doesn't have the fuckin VOTES to stop healthcare reform, so get yourselves a bit educated before making all gay people look like a bunch of dumb fucks. Sometimes you liberals wanna make a liberal not wanna be one anymore.

Democrats with the likes of Nelson and Lincoln could have had healthcare pass a LONG LONG time ago (before August) if they wanted to.

This man is so brilliant. When I first heard his rants, I thought to myself 'this man should run for president in 2016', but I doubt if he could get the nomination. And with the way Washington works, he would suddenly have a calmer tone. Keeping his voice in congress serves us best.

Anyone that honestly thinks this, is a moron and has lost any respect I might have for anything you might have to say on any topic including a response to anything I post on this site. So pound sand dude.

I forwarded the YouTube clips to Nicky Tsongas, the (rather lame) Congresswoman from my district and asked if she could please be a lot more like Alan Grayson. He gets it; and it feels like a breath of fresh air.
