ok. have you ever wanted to ask a question about another ethnic group or about our society but fear you might be looked at as racist, (probably are), crazy(probably are), conceited(probably are)....then ask it here. here is my questions. AND IF YOU CAN ANSWER THE QUESTIONS FEEL FREE.

    (1) Why is it that Asians own so many nail salons?

    (2) Why is it that African Americans always talk in the movie theater during a movie?

    (2) Why is it that if you go to a Latin club they always packing in people like sardines?

(3)Why is it that all Subway Franchise in Queens only hire East Indians?

    (4) Why is it that illegal aliens (especially Mexicans) can find that American dream and live a good life while being undocumented and people with the right papers are still finding it hard to pay the bills?

    (5) Whats up with Italian men wearing track suits and gold chains? all year round.

and this question on goes for New Yorkers who travel the L train in the mornings and know what im talking about.

    (6) Why is it that soo early in the morning (8am), people feel the need to come on the train once it reaches williamsburg area, your clothes are often times wrinkled and sometimes you smell. Dont you people take a shower in the mornings or at least use deodorants..???

Why do Hispanics yap none stop at the top of their voices in the subway?

Why do Americans scream into their cell phones?

Why do white people have such flat butts and black people have such high upstanding arses?

Why do so many people not wear deoderant or wash under their arms, but yet feel the need to hold onto the subway rails and show their rancid arm pits to all and sundry?

Why is there a such thing as skinny jeans in size 16 for women? They're no longer skinny at that size!

Well, dammit, what time is your name?

    How long do you weigh?

    Why is sky, anyway?

    How wide is your height?

How come only the Whos in Whoville can snap their toes?

So are you admitting to be racist, crazy, and conceited? icon_lol.gif

    I'm bored. I'll answer..

    1) I don't know.. just a guess. Maybe because it's easy. Doesn't require a lot of overhead for operating costs. Doesn't require expert command of the English language. Tips are probably good. No one else wants to do it. A lot of the service related jobs/business are run by recent immigrants for the reason I just stated.

    2) [insert Scary Movie reference.. 4:20] icon_lol.gif

    2) I think you meant 3. Big crowds create big hype. Makes the place look popular and makes you want to be there. I think all clubs operate this way.

    3) Those Subway stores are most likely owned by East Indians. The employees are most likely relatives and friends of the owners. Also, most franchises encourage franchisees to own more than one store. So I wouldn't be surprised if those Subways you saw in Queens were all owned by one or two families.

    4) This is a complex issue. But I wouldn't necessarily say that they live a good life. They have a dark cloud looming over their head, and wonder when/if INS will come busting through their door to deport them. Not sure what it's like in NY, but here in LA none of the illegals are here for the American dream. They're here for work and they send money back to their families in Mexico. The immigrants that truly want to stay, make the effort to get a green card and go through the long and arduous process of becoming a US citizen.

    5) I thought that was a fading stereotype. I guess not.

    6) Don't know. Not a New Yorker.

heres one...why is it seen as normal to let your spouse or significant other walk on the inside of you while walking on the sidewalk. If your the dominant one that is.

*laughing* Tereseus, are there any adult beverages in the house? Have one, heheh.

This last question sounds like a Wild Kingdom question about the Orangutangian three-footed peacock.

Sorry, never heard of this gay custom. The dominant one walks next to the curb?

im serious..like ive dated two latino men....and they were sooo adamant with me walking on the inside...and they said that its to protect me in case a car hits us. But i notice it with straight couples too. the man usually walks on the outside. lol..but im sure it has nothing with a car hitting you..i think its a machismo issue.

I'm guessing you mean, the dominant one is walking next to the curb/street.

I don't think this is a taboo question. It's one of those old gentleman traditions. Supposedly the man (or dominant one, in gay couples) walks on the outside to protect the other from debris that might fly up from the street. Debris from passing cars.. trash or water or whatever.

That's easy, because you love your sub lover so much that if a car jumps the curve and takes one of you out, you want it to be you. That's why I do it atleast

meninlove said Why is sky, anyway?
    because it's a nice girl's name.

meninlove saidHow wide is your height?
    Well, a gentleman doesn't tell.

meninlove said How come only the Whos in Whoville can snap their toes?
    because they aren't real.

Why do I get hit on more when I'm in a relationship than when I'm single and seeking one?

Hillie saidWhy do I get hit on more when I'm in a relationship than when I'm single and seeking one?

Because you can commit to a relationship. And you look more desirable that you are with somebody and don't have that desperate hunger that some single guys on the prowl have.
