Hey there guys. I've recently adopted eating/working out habits from the Abs Diet by David Zinczenko, and while my abs are beginning to define, my pecs/chest are not.

I want to have sexy, firm, defined chest/pecs - any suggestions on what exercises I should do, and how to do them?

I'm a newbie to the workout world. 5'11", 160lb, 12% body fat, have been doing basic workout moves from the guide in the Abs Diet book, to give you an idea of where I'm at in terms of knowledge of exercises.

Thank you so much guys! Have a good one. (P.S. Love this web site!)

P.S. Exercises that don't include a lot of equipment (except push-ups) would be best, but please include your best advice.

Funny, but I never quite liked my pecs until I got turned on to core training and got some ab development . By contrast, after my abdomen got flat. my pecs stood out. An example of this is the "loading dock dudes" that can bench 260# but because of their beer guts don't have impressive pecs. Conversely male models can have impressive chests that only measure 39 inches.

The pushups mentioned in one of the 12 week workouts worked as well as any chest exercise that i ever tried.

My other theory is that core training causes pec development just because all the hormones that cause muscle development in the abs eventually send signals to the pecs too.
