    Hey!
    Just thought of having a thread for us living in Australia, and having a fun chat and such. Others are welcome to join in too.

    Sydney here, where in Australia are you? icon_biggrin.gif

    Came to Sydney when I was 5, spent 20 years here and moved to London 4 years ago. Currently back in Sydney visiting folks and friends. Missed it!

    Going to the Fish Markets on Sunday!

    Not from there, but have heard much about Sydney (have heard that it's a fantastic city) and was wondering if any of you natives could tell me more about it.

    . . . I'm not an Aussie, but I love this song . . .

    "I've been to cities that never close down,
    from New York, to Rio and old London Town;
    but no matter how far or how wide I roam,
    I still call Australia home."

    I'm originally from Texas but got to live in Port Hedland, WA for a few months. What an amazing, severe place!

    Since moving to Massachusetts, I flew back to Sydney a few times, including for our honeymoon - one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to.

    Speaking of...next weekend = Trough X in Melbourne!
