For the last couple of months (since closed beta) I have been playing the game Champions Online:

The game was released the beginning of September. It is a superhero game set in the Champions pen and paper roleplaying game universe.

It features a classless system. You are not set on one particular power set. You are able to choose any power in the game. You can even determine where the power emanates from your characters body: Head, Hands, or Chest. You gain one of the several travel powers at level 5 right after the tutorial with a second one at 35. The level cap is currently level 40.

You can group if you want but there is plenty of solo content. I've solo'd most of the game and am 5 levels from the level cap. The areas are a city, desert, the winter landscape of Canada, Monster Island, and an underwater zone. For Halloween their will be an event called Blood Moon:

When you create your character you customize every aspect of what he/she looks like from the top of the head to the feet. You have varies body sliders for body and many accessories for clothing though if you choose no clothing you can do that as well except no nudity of course. Body hair is even in it. If you have played City of Heroes/Villains then you get the idea and yes you get the option to wear a cape at the start. Yes, it is better than that game. The death penalty for one is very minimal.

Best of all is that there are no original names. Anyone can have the same name as it goes off of a global handle. There is only one server. Everyone that is playing the game is on the same server. If you don't understand how how it is because there are several instances of the same area. For example there might be 10 instances of the city area.

If you find yourself above or below someone elses level range you can sidekick to their level. It is a great feature if you want to group with others but can not find anyone in your level range.

You also get to create your own nemesis that only your character will fight against unless you bring others along. The minions will attack you anywhere in an outside zone but the nemesis itself will be in a series of instances doing diabolical deeds for you to thwart.

Since the game is still fairly new it does have some bugs in it. Most people complain in the forums about the game because they really don't know how to play it. It is an action oriented game with very little downtime. I have to say it is one of the better online games I have played.

Here is my current character which I love playing. While everyone else keeps making other characters I can't seem to not want to play him. One of my favorite powers is called gauntlet chainsaw which surprises people when I pull it out. He does look bestial but I didn't take any of the beast powers. I chose more of the weapon related powers.

Now as the title of this post says I have something to give away to 3 people.

I will say this now: I am not working for this company. I am not looking for any compensation. I don't even care if you give it to someone else. I don't even care if you contact me in game or not. I don't even care if you actually purchase the game.

The company sent me an email with three 14 day trial keys. I don't know anyone with a computer that can run the game but I don't want them to go to waste. I know there are many people on this site that play video games so I thought I would be nice and hand them out here.

If you can or know someone that can play the game with the above system configuration send me an email and I will send you the key and how to use it. I only have

Yeah, I tried to get into Cox (City of Heroes / Villains) but it just wasn't for me. I actually tried it several times because I really wanted to play a superhero type online game. I just couldn't get into it. Champions is the game that I was wanting to play. It is all about customization. It is truly a classless game. AND you are not stuck in a city like in Cox.

I absolutely love this game and my character. The tutorial is amazing. When you log in for the first time after character creation you find yourself in the middle of an alien invasion. By the end of the tutorial the city is saved and you are sent to stop other threats though you find out later that the alien invasion isn't exactly over yet.

Anyway, I got your email and replied to it.

It's not a bad game. After you play around for a bit, you can have a lot of fun.
