sure. take the sexual tension out of a relationship ...the need to worry about winning big ...being with this person for the rest of your life ...yada yada yada ...and what ya got left ...a really nice human being with whom you can have a fantastic relationship.

I remember being out on a date once with a guy I wasnt really attracted to. The date was a real bummer until we both decided that we werent each other's type...then we had a great time.

Mine has a son that's a few months older than me. You want weird; I claim her to be my illegitimate mother. lol Her husband passed away in November of '97 and we met on the following New Years Eve. What we have together is very awesome to say the least.

On a side note to what Caslon mentioned last, I always have a great time when I go out. I figure, even if we aren't each others type, we might as well have fun anyway. There's no reason why two people can't focus on the interest that brought them together in the first place. Unless it's just based on sex. lol

And that's any two people in any given situation.

IT, you're spoiling the fun! Besides, the Onion is funny in part because it comes so close to being true. icon_smile.gif

Yeah. And then girl wants to take it to the next level and you're all like "back the f*ck off" and then you never talk to her again.

    TheOnion got it right.

No, I have never had my own personal fag-hag but I have known guys who did. I know, fag-hag is a very derogatory label but I don't know how else to describe her going off to the gay bars with him. Personally, I do not see what is so wrong with the relationship they have. I thought it was unnecessary to end the article with that cruel comment by the psychiatrist calling their relationship "a symbiotic relationship of the highest, most dysfunctional order". What is dysfunctional about it? It seems to function quite well in their case.

Oh yeah, and what the hell is "The Onion", and why don't you like it? I never heard of it before today.

    Alex,

The Onion is a satirical newspaper. I love it myself, I think it's always good for a chuckle. And it's good at using humor to point out hypocrisy.
