I see no evidence of your alleged even temperedness. Not from the posts you've made that I have read.

The video is funny and some parts quite accurate

the part on domestic abuse was not funny, the hate crime thing was also rather naive as was the gay marriage stuff.

    The oversensitive bit was hilarious.

Overall: not that funny, but not that worth getting upset about.

Perfectly chosen though for this web site to inspire another flame war. Well done. I presume that was your intention in this thread too.

Yeah, it was kind of funny until he got up to the point where he jokes about domestic abuse. I'd like to see the video where he goes home and his man slaps the shit out of him while he cries. Some things just probably shouldn't be joked about.

The guy isn't that funny, but it isn't much to worry about.

I don't understand why people can't just comment on the video without the unnecessary accusations of flame. If you're trying to avoid flame, wouldn't it be best not to incite it to begin with?

Anyway, I'm pretty sure the guy is performing in front of a predominantly hetero audience, which makes his comments that much worse. He's trivializing the lives and experiences of people to an audience that probably doesn't understand them or empathize with them to begin with. The whole act just comes across as self-loathing, and like he is pandering to straights. That is my main issue, in addition to my opinion that much of what he says just isn't very funny. It just sounds like cheap, low blows throughout.

I don't understand why you're angered by it.

You need to see a wide collection of diverse comics to understand their humor. Fat comics making fun of the obese. African American comics making fun of African Americans. Female comics doggin other females. It's all schtick. It either works for the observer or doesn't. This guy you posted the video of I didn't find him all that funny. Not because I'm offended by anything he says. I just don't find him all that funny. Maybe some of the stuff about pride was a little funny. His comments about Hate crimes were ridiculously stupid but because I just don't find him funny I wouldn't bother to go see him. He doesn't make me mad though. He's a comic creating a persona he thinks someone out there will find funny.
