Hidden member	Oct 06, 2009 6:10 AM GMT Hopefully people get/are educated and smart enough to realize that these are just done up, photoshopped people. No one really looks like this on a normal day, it is done for show and if you are gonna be on a billboard you have to look good, I mean what person wants a pic of them on a billboard with bad skin, etc, etc. I do agree on like TV and in magazines that it is sending the wrong image to children and teens but it will never end, business is business. We just have to educate ourselves. I personally LOVE photoshop and touching up pics and stuff, plus I think it is pretty obvious that magazines all use photoshop or some program on almost every pic

There are some guys on this site and another muscle site, that have their pictures professionally taken. I don't know if the images are photoshopped or not. I do know that I have met some of them in person from the other site and invariably they do not look as good as their photos. A disappointment.

I've noted A LOT recently how Male Models can appear RIPPED (and face perfect) on a magazine cover and within the contents, but then if you google the model and see other pics (and you can note they are within weeks to a few months of each other) suddenly, they are really just thin, no six pack, no real definition --- AND my FAVORITE, they are HUNG in some photographer layouts, but you see 'em in a general underwear ad and suddenly it's hey wears ur buddy??

Definitely have to go with you on that one. That's the magic of photoshop!!! (Even tho I do work with it, but only for graphic and web designs)

Hidden member	Oct 07, 2009 2:02 AM GMT it gets a lot worse then what you guys are seeing here, men have abs put on in photoshop, hairs removed, curves and bumps added here and there in all the "right spots" Everything gets tweeted and adjusted in photo shoots, there is not a professional photo in a magazine or advertisement that hasn't gone through photoshop before being printed. Unfortunately the general public isn't educated in what to look for in these advertisements to know if what they are looking at is real or not.
