My man and I would like to open a personal website. We have one through Go Daddy now and it's not very easy to use or edit. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any recommendations?

What sort of personal website? A blog? A photo album? A plain 1-page website?

There are lots of easy to use (and often times free) solutions out there. But I think you need to provide more details. What do you want your personal website to be about? Or what is its purpose?

Golly, if you're struggling with godaddy you should maybe try the likes of Facebook, or MySpace.

It just doesn't get much easier than GoDaddy.

I've always been a bit of a geek, so I program my webpage myself and host it on my Unix server running Gigabit ethernet.

I have little personal knowledge of Inmotion hosting; however, they do have very good reviews. Perhaps that is an option to further pursue.
