I think Chris Colfer (Glee) just officially came out.

I`m just gonna quote one comment from that link though:

"I think he is awesome and so is his character on Glee. Just think of the wonderful positive message he is sending out to young gay kids. In twenty years, Chris is going to be seen as a breakthrough in out actors just being completely matter-of-fact about their sexuality. Older actors could learn a valuable lesson from this guy."

I definitely think it's about time these actors felt like they could come out... Producers and agents still tell masculine gay actors to stay in the closet because it will destroy their fanbase and corner them into gay only roles... i don't think they realize how much it would open up in the long run.

It sounded like coming out was not really an issue for him. He just seems comfortable with himself.

We often talk about what it takes to be a real man on this site. Chris Colfer just showed us what a real man is by having the courage to be openly gay. Good work Chris.

    That's what I was thinking.

I have no idea who this guy is, nor have I ever watched Glee, but I don't think it's a stretch to say most folks that tune in already knew this.

It's a real "no shit" moment.

I guess it depends on how much time he spends in the woods. One thing I know for sure is that he definitely shits on Methodists.

Love this....so nice to see young men so very comfortable and out ...was out all my life , but was a much different world then... we need more of the young gay people in the film, music and the sports world to be this open! Give the ones to come behind them more strength n courage n pride in their lives!

    Q. Whats the rarest thing in the world?
    A> Pope poop icon_biggrin.gif
