When Im on this site I often admire the many profiles of beautiful men. So many guys, from all around the world, who are in such amazing shape, looking phenomenal. Its crazy how much time can past by just browsing pictures. Its also fun to read the lively forums, full of witty and insightful remarks. Lots of these smokin hot men also are very smart. Incredible!!!

All is well and good, until I have to sign-out.

Thats when it unexpectedly hits. RJSS!!!

Suddenly, Im thrown back into the real world!! Full of un-attractive people, Evangelicals, and Republicans, OH MY!!! My heart rate rises and I get a little dizzy.

Fortunately, after a few minutes it usually subsides....

Too funny! Yeah, that can happen. What a great little world RJ is. On top of having great looking and intelligent men, they are gay as well. Give one up for Real Jock

Yes. I sure damn wish half the guys I meet locally inspired me, made me laugh, made me think, AND gave me that warm giddy feeling some of the guys around here do (yes, you know who you are... icon_wink.gif ). This place rocks. Why can't I just download y'all into my REAL life???

Look at the bright side: at least, there, you stand out as exceptional. In Chelsea or WeHo, you're just another gym bunny.

I too wish I could download some of you guys into my real life! In the short few months I've been aware of Forums, I've come away with a different, more enlightened point of view in some areas - and I'm grateful for that.

lol...i guess yeah...going back to the real world after leaving the World of RJ comes as a bit of a bummer at times...but on the whole...because of this site...i've now realized that not all goodlooking guys are egotistical jerks..there r ALOT of genuinely nice guys out there on this site and that's something a really appreciate about this site.

Unfortunately, RJSS usually hits me hardest when I need to study for a test or when I have a homework assignment that I really need to get done...

I think I'll have to agree with dr_jackl, I feel I'm suffering from ROCD!

Well, I'm pretty sure that ROCD and RJSS are closely related. I have the same problem as WyoLifter. It can be so distracting talking to great guys, especially when I need to learn. But what can I say, I like procrastinating.

    Word on the ROCD!

Whenever I putz around the house, I tend to hop on here and end up spending far too much time surfing through profiles, chatting, etc. *shifts eyes ... bows head in shame*

the worst part for me is that RJ raises my expectations and compounds my already too-high standards... when, especially in cincinnati, i'm surrounded by people who i wouldn't dream of dating. so i;ve found these dream guys online, dated them long distance, and am perpetually frustrated with the subsequent lack of connection and communication over that long distance. this site endorses my idealism by proving that the kinds of guys i want are OUT there... but that doesn't make them any more obtainable lol. sigh...

Maybe we could all move to Maui and start a utopia. Grow organic gardens...lazy (and active) days at the beach. Lots of parties. No right wing tourists allowed.

So many times, I wish I could just reach through the computer and hug the lot of you. There's so much positive helpful information and attitude from this site and its members, that it lifts me up when I'm down and strengthens my resolve when the ice cream aisle at the supermarket taunts me.

    Y'all just rock.
