I like to sleep in as little as possible even when it gets cold- no socks- no shirt. For those of you that live in colder climates what type of sheets/bedding do you have??

My sister-in-law gave me sheets from Domestications they feel like velour. I really like them, even better than flannel ones I had. The only thing is the first few times they are washed they shed a little fiber.

I'm the same way; I don't care what the weather is like and how cold it gets, I still sleep in underwear or nothing. But I actually don't change up my sheets. I get really hot when I sleep, even when it's cold outside the blankets (or, as in my current situation, outside the sleeping bag that I'm using as a blanket), so using flannel sheets or the like just gets way too hot for me. If I need anything else I usually just toss on an additional blanket.

I love sleeping in a cold room and being under a nice warm duvet and a pile of blankets. I love feeling like there's weight on top of me, pinning me down on the bed. The only problem with sleeping with next to nothing on though is when you get out of bed in that cold room and you have to rush to put something on.

I never sleep with socks, though. I don't get that at all.

I've usually slept naked in the summer, and with shorts, shirt and socks in the winter........the socks are just little white things to hold the cream on my feet (I have dry hands and feet and have to moisturize.)

For blankets and sheets - I have to have them all tucked in tightly (hospital corners) when I'm alone (the perfectionist in me.) When I have company though, none of the accouterments mentioned above are needed!

When I lived in North Dakota I kept the the bedroom fairly cool in the winter (easy when it's -30 F ambient outside, wind chill off the chart), and switched to flannel sheets. A thick goose down comforter was on top. Wore a T-shirt to keep my shoulders from getting stiff, but nothing else, then a heavy bathrobe when I got up. Was totally naked in the summer, as I am almost all year here in Florida, my partner, too.

Also had a fitted electric mattress pad under me, sorta like a giant heating pad, with separate controls for each side. Not too many "guests" used it on their side, and I'd often keep mine off or way low, too, when I had the better alternative of a cuddle mate.

I know it has to be psychological, not based on physics, but heat from a naked man next to me always feels more warming than from an electric blanket or mattress pad.

i've always loved sleeping during winter- love my room to be cold and to curl up in a ball under layers of blankets and down. There's nothing better than waking up curled in a tight fetal position, warm that way but knowing if you stretched your legs out the sheets would be freezing, looking out the window and seeing a white-out of snow fall.... then falling back into sleep knowing school/work is canceled... mmmmm icon_biggrin.gif

i sleep naked all the time, winter...summer...the only difference is during winter I have a really heavy down blanket and summer its light and thin, and I just swap them out from the duvet cover. I had flannel sheets once, they eventually got fuzzys, I love CK bedding

I sleep naked year round. Occasionally I break out a big down comforter, but usually am too warm in bed for that so it gets kicked off during the night. Personally I love high threadcount sheets - they feel awesome.

    Spring/Summer: Soccer shorts

Fall/Winter: Comfy sweats and either a tshirt or long sleeve double layered shirt (don't ask, I got them from gap body ages ago an they're still amazing)

I always sleep in shorts and cotton T-shirt. But for winters and whenever it gets a little colder, I have a Mink (artificial one, love animals) blanket. It just feels so soft and fuzzy, that I generally keep temperature low inside so I can sleep under it icon_biggrin.gif.

We keep the furnace thermostat at 18C during the winter (64F)

We don't wear clothes to bed but keep 'em handy in case of emergencies.

Flannel sheets in December, January and February.

I sleep naked year-round; even in the dead of a New England winter... I just add flannel sheets and a heavier comforter...

I LOVE flannel sheets even though I haven't used them in a long time. I like to sleep in underwear/nothing. I really like to keep my room cold when I sleep. I use a basic comforter, and in the winter I sometimes layer more clothes/sheets. Then again Texas winters aren't really on the same level as regular winters!

I have a thick comforter for the winter months, but usually I just put a big piece of oak on the fire before bed. Keeps the loft toasty warm all night.

Also, the colder it gets, the more cats I get sharing my bed. Last night was a one-cat night.

I usually catch my Zzzz's in the buff. But my place can get pretty
chilly during the winter months. So I'll throw on a shirt and sometimes
socks ( my feet are always cold.). On top I have really nice
flannel sheets, a medium weight comforter and a nice duvet.
Sometimes I have a nice warm body next to me for additional comfort. icon_wink.gif

I sleep in my boxers year round. I have sheets and a comforter, etc on my bed, but actually prefer to sleep in an oversized-heavy duty sleeping bag. It keeps me really warm and is super comfortableicon_smile.gif

regardless of the season, I like(s) my sleep. I sleep - in winter - in the same as per usual: boxers. for some reason, every fall and winter, I tend to like working out around 5 days per week (all cardio) and then in the spring ... reduce that to no gym time at all ... therefore, in the winters ... I don't usually think when it comes to bed; I strip down and collapse and begin the cycle again the following day. I know ... I'm weird.

I don't care much for clothes since they bunch up as I flail about gasping for air from severe snoring.

I do however sleep under a down duvet, that keeps me just right. My house is only heated to 14 celsius anyway so it's a necessity.

An Army habit I still follow. My day's clothes are usually on the floor or on a chair near the bed, even when I take a shower before sleeping, in case some emergency rousts me out of bed.

From about April to October I sleep either buff or with underwear..... once it starts to get cold, I usually put on a shirt and if its really cold, I might even wear pj bottoms. We had record breaking cold the last day and had to turn on the heat.... but still shirtless at night.

I sleep naked in a warm bed with the windows open. Done this since I was 12, because I prefer fresh air.
In winter I use the electric blanket for an hour before getting into bed.Oh yeah - flannel sheets and a thick duveticon_smile.gif
