Would this make you angry?

A woman at work last week brought her sick kid into work. He was coughing, sneezing, and choking the entire time he was there. I found out the school had called and asked her to come and get him because he was too sick to be in school. I've spent the weekend home with the same symptoms and now on Monday here I am away from work after calling in. I'm a Type 1 diabetic and do not fight these things off quite as well as other people, I'm pretty pissed that I was exposed this kid's illness. Should I confront this woman or just let it go?

I would be upset. It might be better, though, to go to the supervisor with the complaint.

heartrobb, I'm so glad you stayed home!
On another topic you'd said how bored you'd become, and were thinking about going to work today.

Thanks for doing your part to keep illness in check. The school confronted this woman when they told her to pick up her child. That must have been embarrassing, lol. Knowing parents and PTAs, likely she's thinking the rumours about being a crappy mother are already circulating, and she'd be right.

You take care of yourself; type one diabetes is considered an 'underlying condition' and so baby yourself. Damn, if we lived closer we'd drop off some soup and videos.

Please, if this lasts more than a week, or gets really bad, consider getting some antibiotics (10 days of them!) from the Doc as a prophylactic measure to prevent secondary infections.
