People just get excited when they watch "Project Runway" and they just want to be part of the exciting world of fashion. Not everyone can be as impeccable groomed as the members of Realjock.

We were doing this years ago when I was working for Abercrombie. On our lunch breaks, we would go across the mall parking lot to the Walmart and see how long it took to find a skinny person inside...

    I am a very bad person icon_redface.gif

I can honestly say I have never gone into a WalMart on my own in my entire life. I was always dragged there by someone else, who I could not dissuade from going with me along. And every experience was horrible.

In my perfect world, there would not only be no WalMarts, but none of the people who shop in them. If you require any justification for that, view the peopleofwalmart site. Or better yet, if your stomach can stand it, visit a store in person. It's how I imagine a prison exercise yard must be, only with aisles. icon_razz.gif

NO NO NO!! You will NOT ruin the one place people like that can go, thus turning them free to frequent places the rest of us shop since they are never going away!!!!

But you clipped my post, the complete sentence being:

"In my perfect world, there would not only be no WalMarts, but none of the people who shop in them."

I envision not only WalMarts being gone, but their customers, too. It's the classic quandary, of which came first: the WalMarts, or their revolting customers. Eliminate them both, and the dilemma becomes moot. icon_biggrin.gif

OMG I was just in Walmart with my daughter (her request) last night and it is just such a different group of people (trying to be nice here). I don't like to be snooty but damn, there are some big people there. Like the two Walmart workers outside the dressing room folding clothes, sitting and clearly in need of mobility! It was really sad.

To be fair you could take pictures at any gay bar and still have the same freak show... albeit the purse would match the platforms.

    Haha, interesting perspective.

I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart and have not shopped there in over 10 years. My family does not shop there either.

Since I've moved to Chicago, I haven't been subjected to Wal-Mart. However, in Florida I once saw a hippopotamus with a stacked weave and 8-inch fingernails being tackled by a tiny lesbian for shoplifting. I'll never forget it.
