Crossfit! Anybody tried it?

So I've implemented this new philosophy on exercise for about five months now. Never have I felt better after a workout as I do when I finish one of these workouts of the day (WOD). Give it a peek and let me know what you guys think! http://crossfitmaximus.com

I definitely enjoy it. Have been doing it for 9 months now. I really like the fact that classes may involve gymnastics training. It's the only workout I've gone through where if you're not on the floor winded at the end of that hour, you didn't put in enough.

After months and months of my friend, that is a CrossFit trainer, dogging me to try it, I am going in the morning for the first time. Fingers crossed.

For my personality type it would be absolutely dangerous to get into it (I donīt do things by halves. THis is what would happen: Iīd do it casually for a few weeks, get competative, overtrain, get injured and put on more weight than I had lost)....

I do worry that some are encouraged to push too far...

Unfortunately for me, I got "special attention" since I was friends with one of the trainers. They made me run through the exercises over and over until I had the form perfect.

I was the fastest runner though. It was a pain to try to slow my pace so I didn't surpass the trainers.

I think I'll join though so I can work on getting my upper body strength to match with my lower body (which has always been my issue).

It's $125 a month though... I'd have to give up cable (which might not be so bad since I only watch Sons of Anarchy anyway and that is on Hulu).
