Virtual Nation Proposes Gay Marriage and Pushes Legislation Banning Heterosexual Marriage

    I have been a member of this site for the past eight months and earlier today a straight member of the site proposed recognition of same sex marriage. A couple of hours later a gay member of the site proposed banning heterosexual marriage, and named the bill DOMA. He did this in protest of the U.S. Defense of Marriage Act.

    I think it's kinda funny, but at the same time kinda sad that a virtual nation would be willing to give people greater rights than the U.S. government. So much for land of the free.
