    For some reason, i rarely met any gay guys who liked freestyle music or knew what it was..here are some classics..as well as a couple new ones..If you know any that you like or remembered..post em..im curious..lol

    i used to be big on freestyle music and my brother dj'ed and made his own remixes for the longest but its a genre i have to be in the mood for now a days

    whew at least someone remembers it..lol..yeah i know what you mean..nowadays its not the same..but there are some that are putting new stuff up..and not to mention some of the classic artists are still performing all over US..But thanks for replying Sage..now i dont feel like such a moron ;)

    Yep... late 80's and early 90's... I was in Junior High when I first started listening to it. I remember dancing to this with girls at school dances.... ewwwwww, cooties! icon_lol.gificon_razz.gif

    I can get into that 'let the music play' song and a couple other but so much of it sounds so cheap.

    actually you are half right.. some of the songs are old so it doesn't have the same quality as todays music.. and also back in the day a lot of artists got lazy or companies weakened the sound that didnt allow it to grow or evolve to something more up to date..which killed the momentum of freestyle music..

    But alot of big names of todays producers, DJ's and mixers came from freestyle:
    Marc Anthony
    DJ Tony Moran
    Little Louie Vega
    La India
    Todd Terry

    Hopefully the artists now will put out better productions..
