Funny (and partisan) spoof of the PC/Mac commercials.

Very clever and well produced. Much better than the typical political ad.

I just wish they had provided an embed link. Forcing people to view the video on a page that's soliciting contributions is somewhat disingenuous. Still, I thought it was clever and spot on. ;-)

Edit: Er, I apparently can't think of my own superlatives or adjectives. icon_redface.gif

I don't think of Republicans as evil. They just come from another planet.

The GOP is going through exactly what the D's went through in 1995 and following, only in the opposite political direction. When the Dems lost Congress, the most liberal members of the caucus were about the only ones left standing, and they became the de-facto "spokespersons" for the party.

When the Democrats crafted their "50-state strategy" 3-4 years ago and started running candidates who were centrists, they started winning Congressional elections again.

The GOP has veered hard to the right and has no plan to address the problems that confront the nation. It's to be expected after a thorough clock-cleaning in the last two election cycles.

And until they head back to the center of the political spectrum, it's likely they will have a hard time gaining traction.

The GOP plan is that people actually pay for their own way and that they do not fall into the liberal mindset of the rich pay for the poor. That people that do not work their way into the middle class get subsidized by the people that worked their asses into the middle class and higher. Just a thought.

    Hear, hear!
As much as I normally disagree with some of Triggerman's views, I have to agree whole heartedly with this statement.

    Cheers,

Jeez whats up with all the hate damn! Chill people chill lol! Evil people? I think that's a bit unfair.

I feel both parties are filled with the same shit. People who are more in love with themselves, power and think they are above others. I don't want to hear who does it more or who did it first it shouldn't be done at all period!

    [neither are all bad]
I don't hate the Democrats or Republicans I just dislike selfish greedy and corrupt people who think we're too stupid to see what they do.
    [hate is a strong word]

With all the junk going on in both parties its pushing people more towards being independent feeling both parties are broken. The Democrats are losing their popularity if you look at how the elections so far are going. The independents are stirring things up a bit more now because many voters feel Republicans aren't too much of a difference.

The Independents are from both parties. Politicians who've gotten in the game because they actually do care about their constituents and want to make things better. But have become sick of the back and forth and corruption of their former parties. Some of them are even average people who've never been in the political world but fully see the mess of both and are thinking about their kid's future so they want to make things right.

All the name calling and hate doesn't do anything but produce more of the name calling and hate. I think if we started getting angrier and called out the corrupt in both maybe things would start to change I don't know. Or maybe we can all stay home when its time to vote so we can see who really cares about the people and who cares about power. icon_twisted.gif

I just get fed up with all of the jabbing at each other when neither is fully right or fully wrong but both have a lot of cleaning up to do in their own homes rofl
