So, what are your thoughts on RJ's new way of viewing photos. I like new functionality if it improves things, but this adds steps. You can no longer click on a main photo to blow it up, you need to click on it from the photo gallery, then wait till the viewing window opens up, then click it again. Takes WAY too much time. What do you think?

I think our idea of taking "WAY too much time" has been seriously degraded in the internet era.

What used to be "way too much time" was measured in weeks vs. days. Now it's measured in the number of mouse clicks.

I actually like the new format.

I also like it. Not having another window open that I have to click on to close actually saves time. I get a bigger than thumbnail look and can go from pic to pic.....I'm glad to see that change.

it gets in the way of other pictures i might want to see, so its just annoying, a close button should be added to the popup or at least a next pic button.

It makes me say bad words aloud.

I like it. As I said in the other thread..

The previous method was pretty dumb. It was just annoying to click on a picture, and have the entire layout of the page shift around and have the page scroll up to the top again.

The new method works nicely. But I think it's a little strange to click twice to see the full image.

All m my photo comments disappeared! I took the time to caption them all, and now they're all blank. Anyone else have that happen? If so, that's not an improvement worth doing.

Thanks, and interesting, because I can't. But I just discovered that I could see them if I go to "Update your photos" from my Profile.

But if I click on my public photos from my main Profile page I can see the caption in the small view, but not in the large. And clicking on my Private Photos, I don't see the captions in any view, whereas I could see them during enlargement. Very weird.

But at least others can read them, and that's the important thing. Thanks for the confirmation.

I agree it should close automatically when you move the mouse away.
