Alright, so I'm going to the south of France at the beginning of 2010 for six months, and I think I'm going to spend this coming New Year's in Amsterdam before heading south. Does anyone know of some sweet stuff to do or places to stay? I've been to A'dam once a few years ago but need to know what else is out there other than that tourist horseshit. Let me know!

There will be some amazing parties thrown throughout the city... all of them probably quite pricey, but most likely well worth it. if you're into dance parties/raves, there will be some full-blown productions of parties in that category that will probably set a new standard in your eyes. scan the web for what's going on

if you just want to be out in the streets, Dam Square is this place to go. just make sure you bring a couple bottles of champagne and some firecrackers, cuz at midnight that square will explode!

    any other questions, lemme know

Rapido is throwing a big new year's eve party.
Usually the Rapido parties are really good and they sell out very fast. I went to one yesterday and I am still recovering. Check out

totally depends on what you're looking for. every outlet with some sort of liquor license will be hosting a party that night!
    Rrrrapido will be awesome!

Keep in mind though that most bars and clubs will be selling tickets up front, and so, no ticket no entry!

which ever thing you're gonna choose, you'll be having a blast in amsterdam!
