The book was far, far better than the movie. Stephen King is a master, even at editing. The climactic, horrific revelation of the space spider occurs at the top of a left hand page, so you turn the page and AAAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!!!!

I literally cringed in terror in my chair while reading it.

Favorite horror film (ghost story actually) these days would be What Lies Beneath.

Gotta agree. IT, the novel, was brilliant and my favorite King book of all time.

Favorite horror flick? The Exorcist.

Like the way 'Salem's Lot' picked up on the Nosferatu beast...very, VERY scary!!! 2 minutes 15 seconds into the trailer...

LET'S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH. At the end you find out the movie is based on a true story......truly freaky.

Any movie I watched or was filmed in the 1970's resonate with me greatly....it just opens up my memory of how terrified I was watching the movies as a little kid. I could barely handle Night Gallery and Dark Shadows, although they were my favorite shows!

Lol, my favorite line in this trailer is when Jennifer yells: "Hear me, hear me" and the husband saying "will you shut up, They'll hear you".

For your consideration: This is another movie that I think about every now and then as to how scary and surreal it is. It has a big twist towards the end....wait for it....

Anyhow, you can watch the whole thing online at youtube.com. I will start you out with the first part, get the popcorn started! It's called THE OTHER

Here is a link for the rest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5swn8h7L4WM

My favorite quote to this movie is the old lady at the begining saying "you dirty democrat!".

You're right. I saw this for the first time just a few years ago. It's quite good!

I have to admit that Paranormal Activity scared the shit out of me only because I have experienced very smilier things in my life since my Grandmother is a folk-healer and things of the sort just happen to run in my family. Creeps me out from time to time. I hate it. Aye Im getting chills just thinking about it.
