    Anyone see it Saturday?

I think Machida is amazing but he didn't win that fight. He is fast, agile, and had some good punches and knees but Shogun landed solid kicks and punches on the offset.

I wanted Machida to win, but not like that. It was far from a good match especially when Rothwell got TKO'd the fight before.

saw it...I agree...Machida did not win that fight. Even though I predicted he would.

I'm starting to find myself a bit disappointed whenever I order a fight its like the free ones are more exciting lol. I was excited about Ryan Bader's fight more so than the other 2.

I wasn't surprised the judges gave it to him. Joe Rogan made quite a valid point that when it comes to titles on the line, the challenger really has to make it clear he defeated the champ. And as much as I agree that Machida probably got bested 3 out of the 5 rounds, it wasn't by a degree that the judges needed to see to give it to Shogun. Do I agree with it? Not really, but I can see the logic. Great fights all night though.

The "unanimous" vote was a little shocking. A lot of the discussion afterward centered around an idea mentioned already. that when the title is on the line a near blood bath has to take place for the challenger to win.

I wanted Machida to win but I wanted him to earn it, not dance around for 5 rounds.

UFC 113: "Machida vs. Shogun 2" tonight (Sat., May icon_cool.gif blew the roof off the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Not even a "Habs" loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins could derail the massive crowd from going absolutely bananas all night long.

In the main event of the evening, UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Lyoto Machida was out to prove that his controversial unanimous decision win over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua in Oct. 2009 was no mistake.
