Hey guys, I'm going to be in Chicago this weekend for a few nights for a class trip and need to find some clubs that let in those 18+ but are under 21.

    Any suggestions?

Not sure of any off-hand. I was a DJ and the 18-20 crowd is a huge nuisance because they don't buy drinks, act out, try to sneak alcohol, and generally feel the club belongs to them--especially if they try and take over the dance floor.

In smaller cities, the small money a club gets from cover for minors is helpful, but in a place like Chicago, they get enough business that they don't have to open their doors to them.

    Sorry, buddy. Good luck!

I live in chicago, and if you are referring to gay night clubs, then check out boystown. The good spots are Sidetracks, roscoes, minibar, cicuit, hydrate, charlies, spin, cocktail

Clarks on Clark in Andersonville is the only one I am aware of that lets under 21 people in. I used to work at Roscoes and I go to Sidetrack and those are both 21 and up.

Have fun though - this weekend should be great!

On the weekend? You can get in at Halsteds but that is because it is a bar and grill, other than that. . . . . good luck sneaking in.

You're probably not going to get into any of the Boystown bars - they all check ID at the door, and they're very strict about underage drinking. In Andersonville or Rogers Park you might have better luck. Usually the smaller pubs aren't as strict as the big bars, but then I wouldn't consider those to be "clubs."

I just realized that you're coming this weekend. If you're just looking for a big gay party, there is the Halloween parade in boystown. You don't need to get into a bar - just go to boystown on Saturday at around 6 or 7, see the parade, and make some friends on the street. They close the street to car traffic, so it becomes just a big block party. Bonus if you wear a costume: http://www.lakeviewcitizens.org/files/2009HalloweenParadePoster.jpg Enjoy!
