I was looking at my underarm hair and it seems to have got quite long (I do not have much other hair on my torso). Do any guys here take special care of their underarm hair, ever cut it? I just wash it twice a day when I am in the shower and always apply deoderant, that's all. Does it need special care?

Electric trimmer=cut it back periodically. Like a wayward hedge. I do.

I trim mine now and then. I don't like the whole hair sticking out of the sleeve of my t-shirt look.

I trim below and above the belt. Enough said.

I rather like hairy pits; very sexy.
I'm not into men who shave their pits; it's a very feminine look.
Regular showers and deodorant seem to remediate any hygiene issues; that's not a factor.

I suppose if your pits looks like Rapunzel, you should probably whack a bit off; lol!

The older I get, the longer my armpit hair gets. I swear it would be down to my waist now if I let it.

So I trim it, just with a scissors. I leave enough to prevent skin chaffing, and not look like a shaved woman, but neither do I want to be tripping over it.

Trim to about inch and half is short enough.
Deodorant makes it taste terrible.
Washing & rinsing in the shower is sufficient.

I just shave it all off. Feels cleaner, use less deodorant, and guys are more willing to do kinky stuff to you.

I also suggest that you post pix of your pits so that we can confirm
that they actually need to be trimed.

How long could your under-arm hair be that it's causing a problem?

I trim, and sometimes shave.

As a friend of mine once said, "If your arms are hanging down straight & it STILL looks like you have Tina Turner in a headlock, it's time to trim."

I use an electric clipper and trim them down close to the skin. Tried shaving with a razor once and got some unpleasant razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

I don't think there's anything girlie about it. For me, it's more about hygiene, and less about aesthetics.

I let mine grow long enough to look like wings. People often confuse me with Stevie Nicks.

Being so blond, it looks as if I shave them, but I do noting with them at all, as I don't have to.

I'm reddish-blond so you probably don't notice as much. 'Sides, most guys I meet seem to like 'em this way.

A good technique to know how much to trim is to stand with your arms at your sides and trim what you see sticking out. It won't be much.

ditto,,,I used to work with this older guy, he had gray hair and worked on our dock. He always wore sleeveless shirts and he had the longest armpit hair I have ever seen...I swear you could have cut it and made a wig for cancer patients or something!!! Absolutely disgusting!! I cant imagine what his pubes must have looked like, aaaaaaaahhhhhh omg not the mental pic!! fuck.

Armpit hair is a turn-on .... therefore, I leave it natural. I tried trimming it once and I swear my equalibrium was slightly off ....

I love a hairy black hair hairy armpit on a guy with huge arm. It just heavenly. But for blond or light hair guys, not to much.

my pit hair doesn't grow anymore and my hair looks fine, so I just soap it up in the shower lol I don't know if there is any truth in this. but I was told the more you shave or trim, the thicker and longer your pit hair will get. I don't use any deodorant either. If my pits stink that bad, I shower. lol

Shave it off. Bleh! It looks rather dirty like some migrant worker.
Plus it retains moisture and promotes body odor.

Fortunately, my arm pit hair has never been a problem. I have seen very sexy guys with a lot of hair there and some that are shaved. I have such sensitive skin that I would probably break out in my pits if I shaved them!!

i use deodorant...and i absolutely love that smell when your deodorant is wearing off just enough that your pheromones are mixing with it...ya know? or is that weird?
