Thanks so much for posting.

I grew up with the understanding that the Tarahumara are mountain people mostly in the Chihuahua area of Mexico that have been relegated to refugee like status. Many of them are beggars along the road, its so sad to see.

This article was so great to read and to find something besides sad displacement of native people. Aside from being Mexican-American and a marathon runner, I'm a terminal 'glass is half-full' kinda guy and I really needed to read this... thank you, thank you!
