My brother noticed this video (featuring a young kid who performs extraordinary feats of strength) on eBaum's World. Am I the only one that finds it disturbing? (I'm primarily disturbed by how young he is and that the presumed father made and uploaded the video.)

    I could do that, too.

But then, I'd have to be rushed to the ER. icon_lol.gif

It's possible the kid is being overworked

but out of what we saw he seamed happy, he's clearly getting plenty of attention from his parents and im sure he's healtheir than 80% of the other kids his age... dont really see a problem here

i was a gymnast growing up... we got beat(not as bad as it sounds) and yelled at and fucking streched till we cried... workouts were horrible etc etc

    i enjoyed the sport
    i was very healthy
and im in good shape today
that and i was good at everysport as a child as a result of my years in gymnastics

This is the next wave of suburban child exploitation.

Now, mothers primp up their little daughters and enter them in child beauty pageants.

Soon, fathers are going to be pumping up their little sons and entering them in child fitness contests.

After all, there's already child MMA..

Yeah. I feel two ways about it. The boy is definitely on the way to be a gymnast. His dad is giving him skills to be a great athlete, maybe an olympian.

Then I get visions of what happened to Jon Benet Ramsay, Michael Jackson, Judy Garland, Lindsay Lohan and loads of other child stars with creepy "stage parents.” Is all the pushing really for the child’s sake, or the parents?

yeah like I said this is nuts... if a kid gets that form playing sports or whatever great... just like my nephew but this is nuts.
