I feel like in an acceptance speech, one is supposed to thank all of the little people. But when I looked through the list of guys who voted me Man of the Day, the only one who was really littler than me was zdrew (and here we're talking public-knowledge dimensions only, people), who while I hear was one of the instigators, he's not the only one worth thanking. So I'm also thanking the big people, the medium people, and the indeterminate-sized individuals who don't wish to be labeled as people.

I do, however, draw the line at thanking the microbes who live in my gut. While my existence in some ways depends on your continued presence, I feel like you get enough thanks in terms of a home and a constant inflow of nutrients. If that's not enough, buck up and learn to deal.

*cue music and retreat from stage*

And this is the point where I would jump on the stage, grab the mic, and pull a Kanye, but alas, I'm a little person. I can't jump high enough to get on the damned stage.

But really, from my gut-microbes to yours, congrats.
