I've heard about Colorado Springs and the atmosphere created there....

I was hoping he'd been cancelled due to poor ratings.... I thought this point in the article was telling:

"Through it all, Dobson has been a polarizing figure. His backers praise him for his unwavering support of the traditional family and his fight against what he sees as its enemies, including gay marriage and pornography".

Nothing wrong with aiding children as a psychologist.. but he has gone way too far... good riddance!

Great news, His spreading missinformation in the name of christianity is hypocritical given that christians are supposed to tell the truth. Question is: is Focus On the Family itself going of the air too, or is it just Dobson going off the air to be replaced by yet another mouthpeace for bigotry against gay people?

i think the part of it that gives me the most heart is the fact that the staff has been reduced from 1,400 to 850. other than that, it sounds like bad news: he'll be replaced by someone younger with more energy.

There will be other haters to fill his shoes I am sure. But future generations will look back at those kind of people as shameful bigots.
