How did you spend Halloween?

My boyfriend and I got dressed up. We had so many bags of candy we didn't know what to do with it. He was so exited that he was pacing back and forth. A neighbor warned us that candy runs out quick in our area. So my boyfriend became paranoid and asked if we should go get more candy. I told him it should be fine.

We sat in the drive way in costume while grilling steaks and squash. A family came up shouted trick or treat, we gave them candy and they left.

And no one ever came again because no one else on our block was handing out candy, which our entire street look pitch black. We'd see the kids walking down the adjacent street and they'd at all the dark houses and just kept going. My boyfriend was very dissapointed and it made me feel bad because he loves kids and he's been waiting for this for this for weeks now.

Now our front room is filled with bags of candy. I have no idea what to do with it. I only had like 4 pieces and my skin is already breaking out.
Maybe I'll leave it all on some family's doorstep.

What did you do? How did it go?

I hear you buddy.Halloween aint anything like when I was a kid in the fun 70's n early 80's.I went to the Eagle in Chelsea and the Monster in Greenwich Village and had a real good time.It was raining so I could not watch the parade which sorta sucked.I guess parents today fear letting their kids go door to door.I mean they have a point there are so many freaks out there today. But then again the 70's was the decade of serial killers and crime is way down where I live.Halloween has always been my favorite day of the year. Its sad kids dont get to experience it like people of my generation did.Lot of cheap bastards on my block dont decorate or give out candy either. But my house was decorated and lookin creepy. So to all the lazy bastards out there who dont even put a pumpkin out or give out candy.....go kiss my pumpkin!

Ketchum (the town north of Hailey) puts on a street party each year for Halloween. This year's theme was the Rocky Horror Picture show! It was great!! They had an interactive viewing of the movie then onto the dancing and drinking on main street. And it is costume central. Half the fun is just watching the people in thier costumes, lol.

I went to the local showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was awesome. I realized the guy playing "Rocky" was a student at my university who I used to have a mini crush on. I got to see him in golden speedos. It was a good Halloween. icon_lol.gif

I had two of my closest RJ buds over and we spent the evening out at dinner with my roommates and laughing in my apartment. I could not have asked for a better weekend; amazing.

Watched a bunch of movies with my buds. I never celebrated Halloween before since most of the family come from Israel.
