    Hey Real Jockers,

I had a very calm semi drunk Halloween this year. I know what your thinking, " No not silkrock" I know and I can't believe it myself. I think there were not that many people in the castro as expected. I had no problems getting in clubs. My theory was they weren't enough people in costumes. Also not enough slutty costumes which always make the night right! I would rate my night a 5 because it wasn't that amazing but it luckily no drama or man stealing.icon_rolleyes.gif

How do you rate Halloween night for yourself?

my bf and I were costumed last nite (he a priest, me a nun). we went bar hopping (on foot, NOT driving!) thru the gay friendly section of new orleans that i live in, called marigny. (it's next to the french quarter).

the weather was effin perfect! low 60's very low (for here) humidity, perfect for strolling, seeing and being seen. we admired more than a few artfull, imaginative and well costumed cute gay guys; we were also admired.

we staggered back to my haus around 2 am, enjoyed some soulfull, deeply personal and orgasmic sex, slept naked in each other's arms until around 10 am this morning.

"it keeps getting better and better everytime we are together". icon_cool.gif

I'd call mine a 9. The night was fantastic despite it being cold where I'm at and so many people were out and about in some rather unique, creative and very interesting costumes.

I also stayed home because I did not have $70 to spend on a rave.
I just got really frustrated because I could not draw a single thing right.
    One.
Not because I stayed home, but because of the drawing issue.

Seeing as how I apparently dove into a beer can pyramid and somehow got a giant gash across my left ass cheek, and I don't remembering doing any of this...

1 - Went out and should have followed my first instinct and stayed in. Bars are overpriced here, the wait to get in to the one we went to was long and I realized last night I am apparently one big step closer to the pastel blue Buick, Geritol and CBS than I ever thought. Looked around and realized I have seriously outgrown the club scene, especially on Halloween.

Next year I'll spend it with my nephews.

    5-6 (5.5?)

Had a relaxed dinner with family and family friends. The highlights were preparing and handing out the treat bags for the Trick or Treat'ers (and eating pumpkin pie a la mode).

Stayed home with partner and handed out candy to 171 kids, hordes of little candy snatchers, lots of fun, and a few cute daddies too! About a 7.

10+ It was my birthday and my friends booked an art gallery and turned it into a haunted house disco. 50 amazing people in fantastic costumes....and I was dressed as Elvis.

HOLY HECK !! I did the exact same thing too!! heh Well, I have this "halloween" cd I made sometime ago w/ random songs that give me the Halloween spirit or put me in that mood.

Michael Jackson's THRILLER is one o' those songs (alongside The Misfit's Halloween II, John Carpenter's Halloween theme, that old school Monster Mash song, etc etc).

But naw, I drove home too listening to Thriller. Just chuckled readin' someone else did too.

My halloween night was a 8 or 9. It was great, I had fun, got dressed up & enjoyed it, etc...!

The gay club here was packed as hell & everyone was dressed up. Not many "scary" costumes out I noticed. Though that didn't stop me from sportin' my Friday the 13th Jason Vorhees costume!! fun times icon_cool.gif

watched Ryan Reynolds on Saturday Night Live, read DWELL magazine briefly and ate a bowl of pomegranate, went to bed at 1...so I'd give it a 8.

    I'd give it a 10.

Went to a friend's house. Made a huge batch of nachos for 9 people. Handed out candy and then watched Paranormal Activity. Arrived home at 3:30am (technically 2:30am with the time change) to find my attic hatch opened! Freaked me right out. Left and went to sleep at a friend's house.

    Pretty damn good night.

    I'd give it a 10.
Went to a gay bar in Soho district danced, enjoyed live performances, admired the costumes, the shirtless guys, danced some more and then went to my dates place where we ate dark chocolate, followed by great sex.
