Did you see this mess? I gave in and went to see it Hallowe'en afternoon with BF. We both about walked out 15 mins into it b/c of the goddamn shaky camera a'la "Blair Witch"-crap.
But, sadly we stayed. What a waste of time and money! I've been more scared of, oh,say Ross Perot or Jimmy Carter.....
What a hokey B.O.S. it was.....Someone made a pile of $$ off of a high school film project. It rivaled "Cloverfield" in rank stupidity by acting like the audiences are that gullible.
    Comments? Derogatory remarks? {About the film.}

It suuuuuuuucked. I've never seen a more boring movie. At best there were some scary bits and that's being nice. The 14 yr old girls beside us were screaming pretty loud though.

I watched it, while home alone, from an online free streaming movie site...w/the lights off icon_eek.gif It definitely had its freaky moments and brought back memories of my sleep paralysis (never had one? i highly recommend it!) incidents.

Any horror/scary movie when seen in the theaters, especially w/a huge audience, sort of numbs the freaky factor. You still get a sense of safety w/so many heads around, which defeats the purpose of possibly getting spooked.

These kind of movies are best seen at night (past midnight) when home alone and in the dark. Totally different viewing experience and far less distracting.

I was enjoying it, until the rather abrupt ending.

I could not fucking stand that movie. All it is, is a straight couple arguing and being complete fucking idiots, until they find a half burned pic of the protagonist in their attic, of all places, like a ghost is looking through their Christmas decorations.
And do not get me started with the Domino's powder on the floor.

The only part i liked was at the end when [SPOILERS] The girl killed her douchebag husband.

I was actually apprehensive about watching this alone in the dark in the middle of the night.

I fell asleep, it was so boring. And I wanted the frumpy house frou bitch to die, she was very annoying.

And the douche boyfriend Mika, thats a girls name in German. Movie is LAME, avoid it.

Go watch This is IT instead.

I thought Paranormal Activity wasn't that bad. (I saw it Halloween night.)

It could be better, yes. The waiting between incidents did get a bit boring (I understand the need to show the drama of the couple, as well as to show how the demon - which unfortunately we never find the name out - is driving a wedge between the two; a trait I've noticed when reading/watching about demonic possessions).

Just my two cents, for what it's worth.

I know am opening a door to get a lot of bashing, but I actually liked it. It was much better than most of the recent crappy horror movies like Mirrors, Haunting in Connecticut, Drag Me To Hell etc.

    I went to see it..

Thought the movie was okay. "Yeah it wasn't that scary, actually it was kinda ordinary" I said to my friend, until i got home and got into BED.

    OMG ...terror.

The stuff that happens in the movie isn't over the top, but if you ever had bed paralysis ... and felt like something was looking at you or breathing on you at night. Then this movie is SCARY.

I liked it, though honestly, I played it off like I wasn't scared.

lol it was supposed to be just like the Blair Witch Project... a movie that makes you feel like it actually happened (When it really didnt) Thats why it was so shaky and such.

You also have to take it NOT as a movie with killing and gore and all that fun stuff

as it says in the title... PARANORMAL activity... you really shouldnt expect one death in the movie at all... it is just small creepy activities that make people jump.

If you took it like that... then the movie was very good and it only cost something like 14K (well something cheap)
